Holiday

August 10, 2009 - Monday. Nasayang ang holiday ko today kasi may lagnat ako since Saturday night :( Hindi ko tulog na-enjoy ang long weekend na sana naging laman ako ng bar, or kaya naman umuwi man lang sana ng lasing or halos hindi makalakad sa busog, or sumakit ang paa sa lamyerda. None of these happened, but instead, I was locked in the house cos I cannot barely open my eyes. Pasalamat na din at slight fever lang. Kaya naman nung naka-recover ako kanina lang, sobrang gustom ako. I texted Joe na walang angal basta kainan ang pupuntahan. We went to a Japanese resto and had teriyaki chicken pizza and seafood noodle. Wala ako makitang pleasing sa paningin ko na dessert kaya lumipat kami ng restaurant para sa cakes. I saw this shop called Mad Jack na nakakalaway talaga yung mga pictures ng cake sa menu, and so we ended up there ordering apple crumble pie and chocolate mud pie and cheese fries.Mabilis na namang lumipad ang oras, 9PM na kami natapos tumibag. Bigla kong naalala na nasira nga pala ang plantsa sa bahaykaya napadaan pa tuloy ako sa Best Denki para humanap ng plantsa. Swerte talaga ko sa mga sale, halos babayaran ko na ang isang iron na worth $50 nang bigla kong nakita ang wonder iron na to worth $69 pero under promotion na pumatak lang ng $44. Inuwi ko sya.

Saturday food trip and UP movie

August 8, 2009 - Saturday. It was a busy day which started with a very filling lunch at a chinese resto in Orchard Road.
Nilakad namin ang Orchard after lunch para naman mabawasan ang bigat ng tyan. Orchard road was very happening on a Saturday. Ang daming attention seeker especially sa tapat ng newest shopping mall na ion. Kagaya na lang nitong alien na to na pakalat-kalat lang. They are in a big group actually, pero hinila ko muna tong isang to para sa kodak opportunity.
And I saw this one logo which happen to be one of my favorite logos in the world. I guess, my shoe will tell the rest.
Next was catching up with UP. I thought 3D experience will be perfect to watch this movie, kaya naman na-3D ako. The movie didn't my expectation. Pero cute movie pa din and worth watching pa din naman. Popcorn agad kahit hindi pa man natutunaw ang tanghalian.

I managed to had my hair cut too.

Mabilis lumipad ang oras, hapunan na naman pala. I had japanese food. Main course was the crispy tempura crab.

GI Joe

Aug. 7, 2009 - Thursday. Hanep sa galeng ang GI Joe. First minute pa lang nakanganga na ko. Kaya natapos ang movie na natuyuan ako ng laway sa kamanghaan. Medyo pagod na maghapon sa trabaho pero naubos ang pagod sa ganda ng GI Joe. Superb. Kaya naman dapat kasali ako sa poster, buti lang may panggulo.

After manood ng G.I. Joe, bumili na din ako ng ticket para naman sa UP. Yahooo! I'm watching it on a 3D cinema, sana wag akong mahilo.

Birthday Celebration, Movie and Shopping

July 31, 2009 - Friday. My company celebrated the July and August birthday babies, we started this event at 4:00PM, everyone headed to our auditorium and called all the July-August celebrant. And of course I am one of them. We blew a gorgeous cake up on the stage with a little bit of fun games. Afterwards, we moved to the pantry where everyone was treated with a lot of different kinds of cakes. I concentrated with the cheesecake and black forest.

It was a long list of birthday celebrants in July-August, and unfortunately, I am "still" nothing in IRAS, I am actually a little bit shy up on the stage.

It was also my first time exploring the auditorium and gym area of our building. After the cake-eating, I asked my colleagues to tour me around the area and they brought me sa outdoor area located at the 5th floor. Maganda pala, may playgorund, may swimming pool, at madaming nakatambay na beautiful people na nagpapa-init dahil parang freezer ang aircon sa loob ng office.

After work, the gang watched Moonwalker, some kind of tribute to Michael Jackson. Whoever produced this movie (if they call it a movie) sure was not in a proper state of mind. I felt like I wasted 7 dollars and most importantly, wasted my precious 1.5 hours time sitting inside the cinema into this dragging low quality film. They could have just played MJ's concert to please the audience, but instead, they played old clips which were never even published in the market cos of its stupidity, I guess. But nevertheless, MJ is MJ. If I could just turn back time, I promise I will not watch this Moonwalker, ever.

August 1, 2009 - Saturday. Woke up at 12 PM and immediately rushed to Vivo City because the G2000 is on sale again. The office outfit that I have been eyeing for quite awhile is already on its lowest price of 29 dollars from its previous 60 dollars. I decided to change at least one week of my office attire, this time, I chose plain colors from my current line of stripe long sleeves.
After shopping, I walked to the Canon shop and play with my desiring camera, Canon 50D. Medyo may kamahalan sya na 2,700 dollars para lang gamiting kong pang-picture para sa facebook, kaya saka ka na muna camera. Nanood na lang ako ng Hangover para matawa na lang sa dami ng problema ng mga tao na nakapaligid saken. Mabuti na lang ako at walang problema, ay meron pala. Pero who cares anyway. Natatapos naman ang problema, eh di hintayin ko na lang na matapos, meanwhile, tatawa na lang muna ko.



Maganda ang Hangover, unpredictable movie kasi. Hindi ganon kadami ang funny moments, pero sure naman na mapapatawa sa mga funny scene.
