Chocolate Smoothies and new PSP game

And by the way, naubos ko din ang isang cup ng tiramisu, smoked chicken sandwich and a glass of ice tea, hahahaha!

When I reached home at 9:30PM, I immediately changed my PSP games and loaded some of my stocks. There I discovered God of War, ang ganda ... sobra!

I just want to check on the game, pero I got hooked immediately. Pano na ang work ko nito? Pano na ang mga labada ko? Pano na? Pano naaaaaaa????? (I have encountered this monster already)

Saturday Movie

I started my Saturday by washing my dirty clothes, then I got SMS from Len inviting to meet up at Fox & Spoon. And so I reached China Square at around 3pm. There was Bibay, Carol and Len.

We all went to 5:30PM church service at City Hall. After the mass, I went to Cineleisure trying my luck to catch a favorable movie timing where I don't need to wait for so long. Unfortunately, there was none. And so I went to Paragon and met Joe and Matthew. There we decided to have a dinner somewhere far from the city. We ended up dining at Paya Lebar area, its at the Old Airport Road. We had tofu with crispy garlic and a very nice sauce. Calamari, which I like so much (comperable to cereal prawn), vegetable, and their specialty which is pork spare ribs.

The three lost souls moved to Great World City after the very good dining (and thanks Matthew for paying the dinner).

We were still lost and not wanting to go home. So we discussed of coming with a website for the F&S. And we look so poor using McDonalds pc that auto shuts off every 8 minutes, hahaha! There I realized how important my notebook is.

These two chinese were dying to see the chinese movie Painted Skin, and so we catched the 11:50Pm show. Damn,I just hate the movie. I thought the maker was so ambitious and didn't execute the film properly. Very dragging, in fact, I had a good sleep inside the theatre. I reached home at 2:00AM.

Haircut and The House Bunny

Let me just recall my last Friday ....... it was disaster!
But this one, well, still the same, no plans at all. Come what may type of day again.
So after work, I decided to visit my hair stylist because it was already the third week of my getting-longer crown of glory. This building below is where I go to cut my hair, they are located at the 3rd floor (about 4 train stations away from my workplace).

I was lost and didn't know where to dine, and that made me visit my friends at Fox&Spoon. There I met the United Nation team. The image below is a symbol of unity, hahaha! Indonesian, Malaysian, Filipino, Singaporean. One of the benefits of having friends like these people is that you don't need to whisper on a phone while having a conversation with your family's or friend's secrets because there is no way they will understand whatever freaking single word you say :)
I just had my favorite banana smoothies in Fox&Spoon because I was craving on my favorite Taiwanese crispy chicken.

And there goes what I was craving awhile ago, right in front of me. It is a crispy chicken on top of an oyster-flavored rice with 3 pieces of tofu on the side and a little strong taste of century egg on top of it. It is called Happy Rice Box. And it just made me happy :)

We had dinner at 10:00PM. But just before we started eating, we checked out the movie playing ... and it was my long awaited movie, The House Bunny. The trailer was really funny and so I convinced my friends to watch with me. And I can never go wrong, this movie is just hilarious. I have never laughed on a movie since Sex and the City until this one hits me again. As far as I remember, I started laughing on the 3rd minute of the movie ...... until I reached home ... until now.

Thank you to our credit card that gave us $1.50 discount, that reduces our ticket to $8.00

These are the ZETA hotties. I like Katherine in this movie, she is just a hot pregnant mama.

After Office

I received a call from Doc C and Guen just right before I leave office, asking me to join for dinner.
At the end, I was the one who suggested to go for Indonesian food as the Pinoy restos in Lucky Plaza are all full packed with Pinoys with common deniminator, that is tigang sa adobo.

I had oxtail and Indonesian tea. Along the dinner, I mentioned my planned trip to Sagada on December, and these two ladies won't let me go without them.

While we were walking in Orchard, I saw this visitor's information just right at the next block of Paragon. And there goes another opportunity para sa kodakan.

I reached home on time, mag-uumpisa pa lang ang Iisa Pa Lamang, hahaha!

Crash of the Titans

"Congratulations .... You Completed the Game!"

I finally finished this game which I have been playing for a couple of weeks now. I usually spent hour or two or every night conquering this game, or sometimes when I hang out at my friend's coffeeshop. But for this significant moment where I played the game completely, my location was very unglamorous beacuse I sat down from where I ate my dinner. It was a so-so retaurant serving chinese food. And the worst thing was, I don't even have headset on, so I missed the game's surround so much ....

Oh but anyway, who cares .... I finished the game. Here are some of the images and my journey with my beloved Crash ...

There are angels everywhere

Today is one of the not-so-good day as it is raining from the moment I stood up from my bed until I reached the last intersection where I was supposed to cross the street to reach my office.
I have to stay still for awhile as I do not have un umbrella to cover my katawang lupa.

I thought of running, anyway, it is just a merely 5 seconds exposure under the rain. But then again, ayokong magulo ang buhok ko. Nakaka-stress, hindi ako makatawid.

Until ..... one voice had approached me, asking if I don't mind sharing umbrella with her. I mean, I am in Singapore where everyone doesn't care for anyone, and then suddenly there was this good samaritan from nowhere. It was a wower!

And then we crossed the road together :)

I don't usually offer what I have to anyone because I thought they don't care. But after this experience goodwill from an unknown person ... I am on my way to give back.

My Desk

I was still in the office at 7:00PM and I was catched by my desk's messy stuff. I realized that I, really am, a multi-tasking personconsidering all the things around me where I can operate all at the same time :)

This is one of my favorites, it is a peanut coated with crispy egg. It only costs $.70 cents. Ang cheap ko talaga.

Lunes

This Monday was no extra-ordinary. There were bunch of issues in office, but thanks God, everything was resolved at the end of the day.

I had McDo again for my lunch.

My dinner was superb as I had pork sinigang, my favorite milk tea and again, my self styled brownies :)

Charity Song - Just Stand Up

This is the most played track in my iPod nowadays. At first, I didn't know the artists but I already recognized very familiar voices right on the first time I heard it, but I was a little unsure. Until I searched on it and found that it is a song for cancer patients. (I really know how to appreicate song, huh!)

I have here the live performance and the below is the one with lyrics. I will always ejoy listening to this song.

Live performance:

With lyrics:

My Sunday

I woke up at 10:20AM today, just perfect to catch 11:30AM church service. I was sitting on the 3rd floor and I managed to capture the church from where I sat.

After church, I had lunch with Ate Lorie, where we had beef stew. We chat a little then I went home. And I just realized that we didn't eat dessert after meal. So, I decided to make my own dessrt when I reached home. It was a brownies I got from yesterday's baby shower, courtesy of Ate Cleofe. And I did some modifications by adding my favorite chocolate syrup. Yummy Sunday!

Jacky's baby shower

I had a full load of schedule this Saturday. I had to wash my clothes, clean my room, change my beddings and party, of course. I went to fox&spoon to meet Seaw Hoon and Joe, then we went to attend Jacky's baby shower. And I have here the book I bought for her, I just thought it can be a useful tool for a first time mommy.

We had parlor games too. Really had fun on one of the games where four creatures has to finish the drink using the baby bottle. And I am the proud winner of this game. Here are some photos:

After the baby shower, I and Joe moved to Flamigo Valley to attend a friend's birthday dinner, Alvin. And again, there were plenty of foods on the table, yet very few people eating 'em. Who is supposed to finish those foods? :)) It was a night of laugher and foods and cocktail drinks and green jokes and a lot of secrets.

I reached home at 1:00AM .... Looking forward for tomorrow's church service and lunch with Ate Lorie.

Isang linggong cheeseburger

Wala akong proper meal but banana twirl @ 8PM.

pobreng hapunan

Celine and Charice

I saw Charice on Oprah and how she was invited by Celine Dion. I didn't feel anything special about Celine then, but not until I saw the many videos of them in YouTube. Right there and there, I started to admire Celine. She is very generous by opening the doors of opportunity to our little wonder Charice. She gave way to Charice as she performed and if you will look at her, you will see an image of an amazed fan watching at her favorite star.

I got one of the many clips here, this is a full version. Thanks to whoever uploaded it :)

May bago na naman akong blog?

Actually, wala akong blog site.

Lately, masyado akong napa-praning sa magiging activities ko sa Pinas this coming December (I already purchased my ticket going home).

So far, iniisip ko to spend my first week with my family. Ideal din na sa Tagaytay kami umuwi sa gabi to spend the next day there. And finally, shopping sa Manila.

And on my second week, parang gusto kong pumunta sa ...... SAGADA! (sample image on top)
