New Gadget

This week has been so good to me cos I have two of my desired gadgets, a Dr. Dre Tour earpiece and MacBook Air 2011.

I got my Macbook Air 13" with tons of free items like 500GB hard disk, ethernet adapter, VGA adapter, 30% off Apple Care and many others. I am really loving it. My iMac has a litter sister now.

The Dr. Dre flew straight from USA. A colleague helped me got it from USA, this is no fake at all (I worry so much cos they said that fake ones are flying everywhere)

Ticket to Philippines

I booked my flight to Philippines on May ;-)

These past weeks has been my "booking-week" as I have booked my hotel in Beijing as well. It has been weeks of browsing and surveying, but finally decided which hotel I like. I am just so excited of the coming travels ...

Earth Hour

I left the house in the noon time and made sure that all main power switches in my room were turned off. With the recent incident in Japan (which made it difficult for me to write an entry cos I was really saddened by the earthquake, tsunami and now the invisible danger - the radiation), it shows that Earth seems to be unwell. And so I decided to stay outside instead, so I would somehow having my own little share of saving energy.

It became a busy Saturday afternoon as I watched Rango. I bought a new titanium ring. I ate beancurd. Walked from Dhoby Ghaut to Clark Quay and then finally, walking back home again. I was happy after walking so much, around 5KM today. I don't feel guilty anymore of using energy in the house ;-)

I have been falling in love with Beyonce's Smashed Into you when I came across this earlier version (the original version, I guess) of the song by John McLaughlin.

Expensive porridge and movie

My Saturday was spent in the house, lazing around until I got ready to church at 6PM.

I went to cityhall para tignan ang pinagnanasaan kong tsinelas. Anyway, hindi ko binili kasi naman sa napaka good price nyang $120, grrr! Sa susunod na linggo ka na muna.

I had dinner with J sa Verandah, isang napaka mahal na lobster porridge. Gaano kamahal? $25 lang naman. The resto's ambiance was so good, some sort of fine dining na super formal ang mga tao but us na naka bermudas matched with sneakers.

After the dinner was another very good movie "Just Go With It". If I am not mistaken, this is the first funny movie of my 2011. Ang sarap talaga tumawa ng malutong. Anyway, the movie was cute, a very unexpected love story in a very unexpected situation from very unexpected people. Hmmm I will give 4.5 popcorns ;-)
